The framing work at MKG Framing is led by a craftsman who takes pride in both the structure he builds and the relationships formed along the way.
His career in construction began after high school, starting in the concrete industry, where he developed a strong understanding of foundations, site conditions, and the importance of precision from the ground up. From there, he expanded into general construction, gaining hands-on experience in full start-to-finish home builds as well as renovations and additions. Working across multiple phases of construction gave him a well-rounded understanding of how framing fits into the larger building process.
Roughly eight years ago, he became self-employed, primarily operating as a solo framer. Over time, his focus and reputation in residential framing grew, leading to the formal creation of MKG Framing LLC four years ago. Since then, he has continued to build custom homes, additions, and renovations with an emphasis on accuracy, efficiency, and building it right the first time.
Beyond the work itself, he has a genuine passion for learning and teaching. He enjoys staying current with best practices in framing, sharing knowledge with homeowners and other trades, and taking the time to explain how and why things are built the way they are. Meeting new people, making connections, and being part of the building process from the ground up is what drives his work every day.
